Description
Dolomite is a natural stone that generally has higher densities and lower absorptions than Marble, and the veining often found in Dolomite makes it ideal for any interior style. Dolomite can be suitable for a countertop, flooring, fireplace, or wall application. Dolomite is slightly harder than marble but softer than Granite and therefore can scratch.
Dolomite will generally hold up better than Marble in a countertop setting but is still susceptible to etching. Please consult Marble of the World or your qualified stone fabricator with specific application questions.
